In
the event of a hurricane, tornado, flood, or any other natural disaster every
effort will be made to medicate each patient. The Administration Office will
monitor news reports and inform clinic staff of the necessity to close, and/or
transfer patients.
Each
patient should provide the clinic with a current telephone number. If the
patient does not have a telephone, an emergency contact number should be
provided.
Upon
the public announcement of a hurricane or tornado warning, each patient should
call his or her respective clinic for further instructions.
A
telephone recording at the closed clinics will give instructions to patients on
which clinic to report to for dosing. If telephone service is interrupted,
patients should call other Toxicology Associates locations to receive further
instructions or go to our website.
In the event that all Toxicology Associates clinics in the Houston/La Marque area must close, reasonable effort will be made to transfer all patients to a clinic out of the danger zone, within feasible distance.
